The social media intern is responsible for supporting our social media team at the execution level. Through our for-credit internship program, our goal is to ensure that you gain hands-on experience while learning about our agency structure to set a strong foundation for your career. This position requires creative writing, attention to detail, and working in a fast-paced environment. The social media intern will be required to support on multiple accounts with daily engagement, drafting content and researching trends.
Responsibilities and daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Perform daily engagement on clients’ Instagram and Twitter accounts and track daily results
- Draft content for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Conduct weekly research on social media trends, platform updates, etc.
- Bookmark and edit user generated content
- Research influencers for potential collaborations
- Research trending hashtags our clients can utilize
- Learn how to effectively evaluate social media performance through back-end analytics
- Assist in team brainstorms and participate in team meetings
Preferred experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
- Eligible for receiving school credit
- Portfolio of creative writing samples, preferably a blog or social media content calendar
Attributes:
- Excellent writing, organization and communication skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Must be an energetic team player who is willing to do what it takes to get the job done

MEDIA RELATIONS INTERN – FOR CREDIT

The media relations intern is responsible for supporting our media relations team at the execution level. Through our for-credit internship program, our goal is to ensure that you gain hands-on experience while learning about our agency structure to set a strong foundation for your career. This position requires creative writing, attention to detail, and working in a fast-paced environment. The media relations intern will be required to support on multiple accounts by researching media trends and editorial opportunities, drafting press materials, brainstorming creative strategies, and contributing to different client campaigns and their individual needs.
Responsibilities and daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Research editorial opportunities and editorial calendars for all clients
- Draft creative pitches and press releases
- Develop and distribute calendar listings
- Track and report media coverage to account leads
- Attend and support media opportunities including interviews and TV segments (pending covid restrictions)
- Clip and log secured media coverage
- Assist in team brainstorms and participate in team meetings
Preferred experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
- Eligible for receiving school credit
- Portfolio of creative writing samples
