According to the Oxford Dictionary, the word empower means to “give (someone) the authority or power to do something.”

We celebrate seeing our clients make headlines for doing amazing things in the world. We thrive in the energy of sending over that amazing cover story or confirmation of an upcoming TV interview. We know that every media hit is validation that they are doing something amazing.
During this Women’s History Month, I hope you empower yourself to do that thing you have always wanted to do. To have the courage to know your worthiness and to finally make “that thing” happen. You know the thing. It’s the thing you have been talking about to only your closest friends. It’s the idea that runs through your mind when you see other people doing something inspiring. It’s the secret you hold close hoping that someday the perfect opportunity comes your way.
Let this be the sign you have been looking for – your time is now. Empower yourself.
The odds are it will be so much easier than you think and happen faster than you imagine. I find that life keeps matching my courage. Let’s all stand in our courage and do all the things that it’s going to take to create an amazing life, a healthier planet, healthier people, safe children, safer communities, technological breakthroughs that advance preventative care… it’s our time.
