As we set our sights on gathering with our families and friends for holidays, we reflect on all we are grateful for. At Olive, we have been so fortunate to work with the very best. I am personally so grateful for each and every one of you. From my amazing team that delivers the magic to our clients who are the real game changers out in the world and to our partners who join us in the fun… we are grateful. All of this wonderful work could never be done without our amazing media friends. If they (you) only knew how important they (you) are to us and to our clients… In a world where the media is often criticized, there is also so much goodness. When I set out on this career path over 24 (ahem) years ago, I remember that I chose PR because I wanted to take inches and minutes from the bad stuff to illuminate goodness. And we have done that!!!! Without media, we would not be on this journey to help people get access to the things that make life more enjoyable. We wouldn’t have the opportunity to dream up wonderful community activations and make sure the community knows about them.
As you relish in the delights of the holiday season, I hope you reflect on all the good you are doing in the world and dream up more ways to spread joy. The world needs us now more than ever.
