Olive Public Relations is hiring a part-time office assistant. This person must have experience working in a fast-paced professional environment and enjoy supporting a team with various needs.
These duties require strong organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills, with proficiency in office software and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
- General clerical duties such as filing, proofreading, managing records, updating forms, retrieving and sorting mail, etc.
- Managing calendars and scheduling meetings.
- Handling correspondence for the team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors to the office professionally.
- Maintaining office organization, ordering and managing office supplies, snacks and refreshments, and supporting daily office operations.
- Assisting with document preparation, data entry, and maintaining client and employee files.
- Supporting with special projects, event planning and coordinating with vendors, team outings, ordering marketing promotional items, or client support as needed.
- Providing administrative support to team members, including preparing reports, managing confidential information, clipping, logging, and supporting onsite at events.
- Handling financial tasks such as processing invoices, managing receipts, or assisting with budget-related duties.
- Coordinating between team members and our IT team as needed.
- Connecting team members with our partnering vendors as needed.
The hourly rate is $25/hour for 20 hours per week.
